Nicholas and Elizabeth Newall were teachers who didn’t really teach. Well, they did teach, but only when they had to. They both came from money and they would rather use that money for travel. Teaching was sometimes resorted to, but only when they needed money quickly. Their sons, Roderick and Mark, grew up knowing they were second in their parents’ hearts.

Join us at the quiet end for Two Dead Parents. One night, after a family dinner celebrating Elizabeth’s birthday, she and Nicholas just disappeared. It would take six years to find the answer to what happened to the couple. In our discussion of this story of parricide, we’re going to try to make sense of the senseless.
