The Death of Jack Watkins
Jack Watkins was a retiree in his mid-seventies who was living a good life. As a widower for many years, Jack enjoyed puttering around his house and meeting up with friends at The Breakfast Club. Then Jack met Nancy Siegal. He fell head-over-heels in love with the friendly blonde. They were planning to get married, Jack told his friends, and Nancy would take care of him. Pointing out the nearly 30-year difference in their ages, Jack’s friends and step-daughters told him to be cautious. Jack agreed that he would. But soon after, Jack vanished, never to be heard from again.
Join us at the quiet end for I’ll Take Care of You. Nancy Siegal had a long history of fraud and theft and what Jack didn’t know would definitely hurt him. But it would take years for investigators to locate Jack and put together just how cruel and selfish Nancy could be.
