Something Wicked: The Murders of Susan, Karen, & Michael Reinert

In Episode 312

Susan Reinert was an English teacher at Upper Merion Area High School in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, when she began dating fellow English teacher William Bradfield.  Bradfield was charismatic.  In fact, Susan left her husband to carry on a secret relationship with him.

On June 25, 1989, Susan’s naked body was found in her car in a hotel parking lot near Philadelphia’s “Main Line” and her two children, Karen and Michael, were nowhere to be found.  An investigation by state police and the FBI centered on William Bradfield and the school principal Dr. John Smith, who would be revealed as a sadist with a passion for pornography, illicit drugs, and violence.

Join us at the quiet end for Something Wicked. It’s been 30 years since William Bradfield and Dr. John Smith were exposed as cruel and deviant men, but this is a case that never fails to fascinate or invite debate.

  • Hiya Jill and Dick….

For me it’s day 171 in isolation…. I was in Asia/Sri Lanka/Maldives Jan/Feb (I nearly cancelled) and went into quarantine when I returned for first 2 weeks of March. Then my city went into lockdown. Anyways….. thank you for the ad frees.

I look forward to Monday night.

Tonight in my TCB snifter is a strawberry rhubarb infused iced-tea. Non sweetened and thirst quenching. A slight hint of lemon. Just ordered a Tiegrabber tank. Perfect to wear to the gathering for under 6 bodies that I am going to tomorrow. Haha…. Going to visit my 80+ yo Uncle tomorrow, and order in Chinese. Take good care of each other and looking forward to hearing you next week xo

    • Thanks Peggy! It’s great to hear an opinion from someone who actually saw the trial. Jill
