The beer is a rusty brown color with some red highlights. There is a light tan head with a few spots of lace.
Sweet malt aroma. Some smoke, some leather.
Taste of caramel and toffee. Smoky. Dark fruit/fig.
Creamy feel in the mouth. Drinks well.

About the Brewery

Grimm Artisanal Ales was begun in 2013 by Joe and Lauren Grimm. A nomadic brewery for their first five years, they opened their permanent location in Brooklyn in 2018.
