Imperial IPA 11% ABV
In a snifter the beer was a hazy brass color with a medium-sized off-white head. There was a fair amount of lace.
Aroma was well-divided between hops and malt. Pine and citrus, lots of sweet malt.
Taste followed form. Resinous piney hops, a bit of grapefruit. Strong caramel malt .Not as hoppy as I anticipated. Very well-balanced. The alcohol was not at all noticeable.
Very nice beer.
