Black beer with no head to it.
Nice aroma: roasted malt, oak, vanilla, and caramel.
Taste of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and caramel.
Dangerously drinkable.
Stone opened in 1996, founded by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner. It is the largest brewery in southern California.
