Wild Ale 6% ABV
One of Jill’s favorite styles. It is a hazy light gold color with a small white head. Effervescent.
Musty, funky aroma. Bready. Some oak and citrus.
Taste follows the nose. Also some tart green apple.
Crisp with a dry finish.
Russian River Brewing Company was founded in 1997 by Korbel Champagne Cellars, and Vinnie Cilurzo was hired as head brewer. RRBC has been very successful, winning more awards than they can count. In 2018 they opened their state of the art brewpub.
