Nut Brown Ale

Reviewed 12/3/2024

The Common Denominator, Part 2

Samuel Smith Old Brewery

Tadcaster, England

English Brown Ale 5% ABV

This is what a nut brown ale should taste like. It’s a medium brown color with a moderate head and some nice lacing. It has a chocolate/ malt odor, and a coffee taste with a small bit of hoppiness. Good body, not thin tasting. Very drinkable.
