A dark brown/red color with a small tan head.
Aroma of booze, caramel, vanilla, and smoke/peat.
Taste follows the nose. Whiskey, caramel, smoke.
Medium-bodied, nice sipping beer.
Founders Brewing Company was begun in the mid-1990s by Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers. It is now the 15th largest brewery in the United States and their beers are distributed nationwide.
